Hi there

Suddenly my project board stopped working and when I connect it to my machine it seems to be in DFU mode.

The only device I see is:

DFU ATXMEGA64A3U

What can I do? Thanks for any help.

Ben

Hello Ben:

We've seen this happen a few times before, usually if the DFU jumper (in the upper left corner of the board) is accidentally installed, or if these two pins get shorted together when power is applied to the board. We also have a sneaking suspicion that this can happen if the Project Board is plugged into the programming connector before power is applied to the Fox Board. (We haven't been able to verify this 100%, though.) Basically, the Fox Board ends up in a state where it's waiting for a firmware update.

Luckily, there is a fix. It requires several steps, but hopefully it's fairly straight forward. We have published it on the site at this link:
How To Fix A Locked Fox Board

Please let us know how it goes and if you're able to get your board working again.

Thanks,
